Genealogy Friends Membership
The Genealogy Friends of the LIbrary is a non-profit genealogy society whose purposes are:
- promoting interest in the field of genealogy through educational programs
- collecting and disseminating genealogical information
- providing volunteers and financial support for the Genealogy/Local History Room of the Neosho/Newton County Library
Regular membership meetings are held are held the second Monday of March, May, September, and November at 6:00 p.m. The Executive Board meets on the second Monday of February at 6:00 p.m.
Contact the GFOL for current meeting location. Planned programs of genealogical and historical interest are a part of each meeting. Visitors are always welcome!
