Our Mission

The Neosho/Newton County Library shall:

  • Provide for the collective and individual information needs of its patrons by selecting, acquiring, cataloging, organizing and distributing information and materials.
  • Provide for the continuing education needs of its patrons by supporting learning by providing materials that enhance daily life, personal interests and job performance.
  • Provide for the recreational needs of its patrons through the provision of library materials and services.
  • Provide a vital link between other libraries in the area, state, and nation.

Seneca Branch Library Hours: 

  • Monday                        9:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.
  • Tuesday                        9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.
  • Wednesday - Friday       9:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.
  • Saturday                       9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
